High Sierra Topix

Our family of four will be hiking from the Silver Lake trailhead to Devils Postpile beginning on 7/13/12. I'd like to park at Mammoth mountain, then shuttle one way to the start.

If you are willing and able to help, that would be great! I can pay $30. There would be four of us, plus four packs. Time would be around 10 am.

Welcome to HST!
Why not take YARTS from the Mammoth Mountain Inn that departs at 8 am and
arrives at Rush Creek TH at 9 am, the cost is $3 per person.

I've been reading the forums for about two years now,just never had anything interesting to post. It's nice to know that there are other folks out there as crazy about Sierraland as me...perhaps even more!

Please contribute, it is what makes this great HST community what it is, where one
can freely share his/her passions, and experiences in the Sierra with one another, and
surely find several other members who can relate to those emotions/feelings that
you experienced while backpacking up that peak, coming upon a beautiful meadow
blanketed full of wild flowers, experiencing a beautiful sunset reflecting in the calm
water of your favorite lake, feeling the power of a lightening storm, or catching your
first monster trout. All of these life experiences are worth and should be shared!
