Road opening schedule...

Mammoth Lakes Basin...25th May

Reds Meadow Road...24th of June, shuttle starts June 25


and, Convict Lake campground opens tomorrow

and, the Mono Lake Visitor is open Thurs-Mon until May 19, when it will be open daily


and :) Fishmas is Saturday!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org

May I add here, something I didn't include because it was posted elsewhere...Rock Creek Road is plowed to the pack station.

South Lake Road should be plowed to or near the lake by Friday.

And on the other side of the range, the road to Wishon Dam is supposed to open this Friday, according to the FS.
