Getting from Cedar Grove to Crescent Meadow

Any bright ideas or experiences? I'm guessing that hitchiking will be better before Labor Day than after (I'm looking at late August/early September), and that Cedar Grove would be a better place to catch an outbound ride than Road's End. Probably 2 legs, or more. Anybody know of a ride for hire in SEKI? Anybody looking At High Sierra Trail-John Muir Trail-Woods Creek between Crescent Meadow and Road's End (or the other direction) about that time, and interested in a shuttle with two cars? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
