Going to Desolation WIlderness from Santa Cruz, cA 6/5-6/8

ANyone to split gas? Great hike to Velma Lakes Basin. Might still have some snow but soooo worth it. First real hike of the season for me. Sierra's have been dry for a while now so according to rangers things should be pretty clear.
