The road to Cedar Grove opens tomorrow! (April 26th) When you go to this area of Kings Canyon National Park, we invite you to view this beautiful scene at Zumwalt Meadow.
At this point in time, only the road and hiking trails will be open. There will be no visitor services in Cedar Grove until mid to late May. Please stop at the Kings Canyon Visitor Center in Grant Grove for trip planning.
Also, all NPS campgrounds, including Cedar Grove, are delayed in opening this year, due to hazard tree removal. There will be no campgrounds open in Cedar Grove when the road opens. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it's to keep everyone safe.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
