Buttermilks 2/25

Post by maverick »

Inyo NF:
Buttermilk climbing area this weekend, where our patrol observed 4-6 inches of snow on the road. Snow levels remain low throughout the Owens Valley, which has been unusually cold. While (somewhat) warmer temperatures are in the forecast, visitors should be prepared for snowy conditions. High elevation roads, such as the White Mountain Road to the bristlecones, are blocked by deep snow. More snow is in the forecast. Be ready for any weather.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
