Horseshoe Meadows Road Closure Due to Mudslides 8/2

Multiple mud slides reported on Horseshoe Meadows Road. Road closure in place at Horshoe Meadows Road and Lubkin Canyon Road. Emergency personnel are on scene. Further information to follow.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

8/3 Update

Inyo Co Sheriff's Dept:
Cleanup is continuing on the Horseshoe Meadows Road mudslide throughout today. Several vehicles trapped in the mud were removed yesterday and at least four areas were impacted with mud and debris. More information expected later this evening.

Update 3:30pm 8/3/18: Horseshoe is now open, there is still a lot of loose gravel, use caution.
