nice summary. Not sure about Bob Ennis in Lone Pine (the one that didn't return your calls). May have been a time when he was in Death Valley, which he does for recreation in the off season. I've used him and Paul from Independence and both were reliable, fully insured, and very responsive when I had plan changes and called them on satellite phone from the wilderness.

I didn't even know of the Bishop Creek Shuttle until I read your page - I always skipped over that on their schedules page. I don't necessary need it this year, but a few years back this would have been a great way to get to Parchers to drop off our resupply while my car was in the shop in Bishop. Heck, for the price, you can keep your car parked and spend a day up there and come back in the pm.
