Road to north and south lake

Post by C-level »

Was curious if the road to south lake is open? Was planning a last trip to bishop canyon for a few day hikes, weather permitting. ANY info on roads to backcountry parking??

Inyo NF web site says the roads still open - http://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/inyo/ ... width=full.
It would be better to call the ranger station to confirm though.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
