tuolumne meadows road closure

All discussion related to transportation to, from and within the Sierra Nevada. Need directions or flight information? Info on road conditions? A ride to the trail head? Folks, over 8 inches of new snow in the Tuolumne Meadows. If your are headed out in that direction, please take care.

No care necessary - the road is closed and gated at Crane Flat.

As expected, HWY 108 (Sonora Pass) and HWY 4 (Ebbetts) have reopened. IMO, 120 (Tioga) through TM ought to reopen later today or tomorrow. Now I just have to decide which one to drive over. :)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
