I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Road Closures for Winter

Post by maverick »

Inyo Sheriff's Dept:
The Eastern Sierra is moving into winter closures with the last storm and more snow is in the forecast.
The passes- Tioga, Sonora, and Monitor are closed.

The Lakes Basin Rd. and Old Mammoth to Lakes Basin is closed. Hwy 203 is closed at the Mammoth Mountain Inn.

For now, the Rock Creek Rd. is closed at the Rock Creek Lodge, but Mono County anticipates that the road will likely close at the Sno Park with the next storm coming in this week.

Horseshoe Rd., South Lake Rd. at Bishop Creek Lodge, North Lake Rd., and Hwy 168 W at Aspendell are closed.
