vegas sporting goods store

Post by Quandary »

Does anyone know of a sporting goods store in Vegas? All I need is stove fuel. I'm flying in on the 16th and of course cannot pack fuel. Something that's located on the NW side of LV would be great since I'm heading that way from the airport straight to DV and the Whitney portal.

There are a number of Sports Chalet and Sports Authority's in town as well as an REI in Henderson. On the northwest side is a Sports Chalet on Charleston (http://tinyurl.com/kmsba). The REI is in Henderson which is the opposite direction you are going form the aiport but not that far from the airport and rental car places. If you need selection go to REI, if you want Sports Chalet you can kind of get there fairly close from the freeway. That is if you are heading up 95 to DV.

Their is a Cabelas on I-15 with its own off ramp. Its connected to a casino called silver station??? I believe. You should pass it if your going to take Baker to D.V. they have a inside waterfall with lake and ducks. also one huge aquarium with bass and trout.

I think you are referring to the Bass Pro Shop at Silverton's, which is just south of the airpot on I-15. Have not been in there but another option as well.
