replacing the straps on my Leki trekking poles

I need to replace a strap on one of my Leki trekking poles. One night a rodent decided it would make a good meal. I've looked on-line but all I could find was how to replace the basket etc. Does anyone know how to remove the handle (I'm assuming this step has to be done), and replace the strap? All advice will be appreciated. Thanks, js hill

Does this help? : http://www.rockymountaintrail.com/image ... inters.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

look at the autostrap section.

Iff you got a new strap from Leki, wouldn't that come with instructions or are you making your own?

I have the same top pin in my Leki telemarks. Leave your poles stuck vertical in the future. they can't climb up and eat your sweat.
