Gps trail maps for a tech idiot

Post by funcrew »

I have a garmin Eurex hc but no idea how to run it. I can worry out from the owners manual how it works, but I need to load a map to hike to Martha Lake. Can someone walk me through how to find and load hiking trail maps? Much obliged. And yes, I know this is trivial but I am a Luddite and find things like this near impossible. Please humor me.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
