break down and buy a replacement every few years.. even fuel containers don't last forever.

Wow, wish the rest of my equipment that cost 200-300 times this amount would last 20 years!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
