Esbit question

Post by frediver »

It's kinda fire.
Does anyone know the proper distance from the cube top to the pot bottom
for Esbit to burn/heat properly?

Thank you
The site has lots of great info. but raises one question.
I assume a double wall stove is a "soda can" stove, yes ?

Thanks again

Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing as an Esbit stove for backpacking. I haven't seen that name since I was a wee little kid in the 60's. My uncle gave me this really cool mini steam engine toy for Christmas (probably mid 60's). It was powered by burning this little mini bricks--I recall Esbit was the brand name. It brings back some good memories of times long ago.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
