Obtained more 100+ year old stoves

Post by hikerduane »

Found two more Primus 96 stoves, one pre 1911, the other from 1911. This is the "A" = 1911. Bun feet, have been looking for these for a few years, found them both thru a party in the UK. Gives me 12 of these that are 100 years old or more, part of over 40 different years I have of the 96's. Bun feet were only on the first couple years.

Pretty cool. I wonder if today's stoves will last 100+ years.

These have what is called a lipstick burner, needs good contact with parts to keep vaporizing kerosene.
