Tent choice Copper Spur HV UL2 vs. Nemo Dagger P2

Quite the strange conversation. Paul moved to the Boston area a couple years ago. I get this call as we're starting the packing/planning for late September.

"Russ, do you have my tent?"

At least he's organizing the gear. And no, I don't have his tent.

Anyway, with that out of the way he's looking at the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 vs Nemo Dagger P2. Not a fan of the DAC connectors, but he gets to make a choice.

Copper Spur. It's 10oz lighter and made by BA. A real palace for one person and he could even get those LEDs that attach to the tent for indoor lighting.

I went through the same decision process. I ended up getting the CS for three reasons:

- the Nemo I looked at still needed a minor tie-out at the foot; I was looking for true free-standing
- the sales person cracked the connector on the Nemo
- the CS has a new re-engineered central hub
