Would Larry P have used this early MSR stove/pump?

I acquired these off the bay in the last few weeks. A prototype white pump and a DF or MF stove with a small, aluminum pot, lighter than any ti pot I have and a Sigg fuel bottle. Seller had a round about connection to MSR.

I have no debt still, retiring at the end of the month. Something to keep me motivated and a source of focus/interest.

From an engineer's perspective, that's pretty cool. Its obviously an ancestor of the stove that I have used consistently with few problems for the last few years. Interesting to see how they have evolved. Thanks.
