My dogs paws are pretty smooth in texture but well worn. We hike most Fridays, but usually on a nice single track like Ice house or the trails up by Big Bear. She's pretty high strung, so she usually gets a good run a few times a week with the mountain bike in the horse hills of Huntington Beach or a fire road some where. I ordered the booties with the gaiters so I'll let you know.

Received my dog gear booties last week and took her on an easy 4 mile hike in Hacienda Heights. Had a little trouble at first, but as they loosened up i just tightened them and they worked like a charm. By the way, the gaiter part worked great for keeping pebbles out. Thanks for the help
