Two weeks ago a friend and I climbed the "Dinner Plate Traverse," a group of 5 peaks surrounding Lake Tulainyo, the highest named lake in California. Its an awesome route in the Sierras, off the beaten path and away from the nearby zoo (Mt. Whitney).

Welcome to HST! Beautifully detailed TR and pictures! Have been interested
seeing Tulainyo from the peaks around it to see which offered the best view
of it, got my answer.

Wow, what a terrific report. Both the photos and the account are wonderful. That is such a great report it makes me feel like returning to peak bagging (my main objective in the Sierra before getting obsessed with high lake fishing).
