Striped Mountain from Taboose Pass

Post by ToddC »

Who has done this one? I am wondering if there any higher than normal chances of loose rock danger or issues such as that? I'll be going solo. I've climbed class 2-3 solo before (E.g. Tindall, Agassiz) but this is a new area for me. I'll be doing it as an overnight. Camping somewhere between Taboose Pass and the cirque between Striped and Goodale mts. Any info would be appreciated.

Did you climb it? We climbed Striped Mtn. two summers ago. It is surely a lovely mtn to look at from afar, and not hard to ascend. Loose but firm enough. Taboose is something else though, something I only want to dream about.
