Sentimental Journey: Tulainyo Lake 5/16-17/09

Post by MooseTracks »

As a final prep for the Shasta run next weekend, I took myself on a little trip to the high end of this incredible basin. It'll be hard to find another weekend as good as this one.

You are hardcore woman. Good luck on Shasta!

Oh, sitting here with George Durkee and he says, howdy and good luck on Shasta too.
You met George at Charlotte.

Skibum, actually more of a surfbum these days.

Skibum:

Thanks so much. This was a great trip, and we had a blast on Shasta (sorry, I didn't see your post until this evening!).

I'll be in your neck of the woods in two weeks: headed for Moose Lake and Alta Peak. If you and George are free, it would be an honor to have you along. I remember meeting George last summer: let him know my friends did indeed clean the champagne bottle (after emptying the contents, of course!) off the summit of Bago.
