Rock fall, Bishop Pass

Post by hikerduane »

On my eight day trip, I stayed the next to last night at Ruwah Lake below Bishop Pass and heard rocks/boulders falling half the night it seemed like this last Thursday night. It just went on and on. One episode, I was expecting the ground to shake. There was a boulder about 2/3 the size of a VW in the trail Thursday when I came down, not sure it was there a week ago, a camper said he had heard a rock slide Wednesday night, that lasted about a minute. Funny, during the day nothing. Any news about the area?
Piece of cake.
