High Sierra Topix

Anyone been up there this year? Thinking about going on Friday. Questions
1) is there available parking off hwy 50 (not blocked off)?
2) is most of the snow gone?

I went up Ralston two weeks ago. The dirt lot across from Camp Sacramento was open and many cars were parked there. The final 20 minutes of the hike was in snow. Many, many folks hiked up to enjoy the awesome views.
