Sierra Peaks map

Post by langenbacher »

There's a really cool resource on climber.org showing all the major sierra peaks on google earth. And this being google earth, you can click on each peak to get detailed climber.org info about the peak. It's great for previewing a climb in 3D. If you can't hack google earth - they've got the same thing for google maps. see http://climber.org/data/SierraPeaks/AllRegions.html . and for google earth/maps bear boxes in the sierras maps, see http://climber.org/data/BearBoxes/AllRegions.html.
