Miter Basin TR: Peaks, Passes, and Trouts

Sorry for the link, but don't have enough time to go through copying the pics and text right now. So for now, enjoy a trip report from a 5 day mission into Miter Basin to climb Pickering, LeConte and McAdie, amidst some of the worst T-storm activities I've ever been in here in the Sierra.

Ryan, is that beautiful fish from one of the lakes I mentioned? That close-in shot is presented nicely in the spirit of HST omerta. (Per wiki: omertà is a cultural expression and code of honor that places legitimate importance on a deep-rooted sense of a code of silence). LOL

That particular fish was indeed from one of the secret lakes you mentioned on our trip. Though even in the big lakes, like Sky Blue, they were basking in the shallows like whales. Too bad I only brought a small Ti pot or they would have ended up as fillets!
