There was more than one entry in the register insisting that this peak was the real Homers Nose.
Ha! One of those was probably me. Homer's Nose is the name of the rock and was named after a man named Homer who acted as a sort of local guide to the area a long time ago. At some point map makers just started incorrectly putting the name on the high point instead of the rock itself. The high point is the brow.

Great pics and thanks for sharing! I'm impressed you had the juice to tackle all the minor peaks along the way.

Day hiking from the South Fork was rough, but doable c2c in the daylight for anyone reading this and wondering.
