Heehee! Bright gaudy colors, a "tip" tray (I think), heart shaped tub . . . . get it???
Yeah, we used those directions, but in the dark it must've been hard to find. I think its 7 or 8 miles, not 10 miles past Benton. In the dark Janie's Ranch would have been hard to see.

What an awesome beautiful day this was for Snowy's 50th Birthday Peak Hike! Congratulations to you all on Boundary Peak & also Montgomery Peak So sorry I did not get myself up the rest of the way to the peak to share it all with you. I feel very fortunate to have just been out there with everyone & as Sierragator told me..The peak is not going anywhere..so one day I will try again. This is a beautiful hike I thought..very cool how it goes from high desert vegetation to high alpine of just rock and sand. My favorite parts of this hike is the long gentle plateau you hike along to Trail Canyon Saddle & the ridge you hike along after the 2nd saddle.
It was so nice to meet a few new people I have not yet meant, Tomcat, Rachel, Sierragator. Also Bob, Bill, Mark from the China Lake Mountain Rescue Group..what a nice fun group of people you all are!
SN & Tomcat, Beautiful pictures thank you for sharing them...no silly Red x's this time
Quentinc, so sorry you were not able to be there..I can see where that road would be hard to see at night. The fire was awesome & a real treat for me..I should have brought the stuff for smores
Thanks everyone for a very special day!
I Finally got my pictures in an album..sorry im so late posting them
