SNOOOOW's Adventure in Yosemite

Post by Vaca Russ »

Jon (JB) has been out bagging peaks in Yose. He has been updating me on some of his achievements.

On 9/14 he bagged Mt. Lewis.

On 9/15 he summited Mt. Gould (13,005 Feet).

On Sunday he reached the summit of Mt. Bago.

Yesterday he attempted to summit Ragged Peak.

I hope he has time to complete a full report.

Thanks,

Gould and Bago are Kings Canyon. I'll try to get some reports up today

So you went to Yose, then to SEKI and then back to Tuolumne Meadows again?

I did, I called it "The National Park Tour". I was going to spend 2 nights/3 days to finish in Tuolumne but I was tired of the 28 degree nights so it ended up just being a big day hike out to Young Lakes and beyond with a trip up Ragged on my way back to the car. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Young Lakes as an overnighter.

JB,

Why don't you post this stuff on HST? =D> :D

I found (after he texted it) this video montage by SNOOOOW on you tube:

I wish I had the talent to make a video like this. Jon, you captured a sow and her cub? Share the story!

Never heard of The White Buffalo but "The Pilot" is a great song!

Thanks,

-Russ

Russ calling me out lol. I know, I need to write up a report or 2 but thanks for putting this out there. That video was actually made by my buddy that came with me on that 1 portion of my trip..He is the brains behind the montage/video operation.
