Florence/Edison cellphone reception pockets

I need to meet some friends while we are hiking in the area this weekend, and plans keep changing. Are there any reception pockets in the area to check texts/messages, or do I have to drive back to Shaver?

Only if you have ATT or Verizon. There is a shred of a signal at Mono Hot Springs and Edison. If you can call via wifi, Mono Hot Springs Resort has that too. Not sure about texting unless you use the wifi.
At Huntington you have better reception.
Vermillion charges steep for internet time, so I doubt they have wifi.

No reception at all at Florence. Huntington has good reception for both AT&T and Verizon, with Verizon a little better. My wife and son are spending the summer at Huntington... she has AT&T and he has Verizon.
