I just wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone here! I've been lurking and reading for quite some time preparing for my first 5 day backpacking trip in the Sierras. The info, advice and wisdom of this forum helped make my trip a huge success. All I can say is "thank you very much" and 5 days on the JMT was not nearly enough. I'll be back for more as soon as possible!

Welcome to HST! Happy to read HST could help you with planning and putting
together a successful backpacking trip. Hope to be reading a TR and seeing
