High Sierra Topix

A buddy invited me on this trip and we spent 4 days going to Hamilton Lake and back on the High Sierra Trail. It was nice to hike with others for a change! I usually try to speed through the forest to get to the high country, but this time I was able to enjoy it.

We had a really good time, and laughed for four days straight. The scenery was grand. The swimming at Hamilton Lake is probably the best in the sierra! A lot of great spots to cool off along the way. I scrambled up to get a closer look at the waterfalls and a really great view of the lake.
