Horton Lakes to Mt. Tom

Small group of experienced backpackers attempting Mt. Tom with an overnight at Horton Lakes, weekend of June 9-10.
Hoping someone will have updates on the conditions in the area - particularly the route from Tungstar Mine to the summit. We are aware the dirt road to the TH requires 4WD. Also welcome are any advice/suggestions. Thank you!
