Looking for Italy Pass Conditions

Hello everyone
Has anybody got any info on Italy Pass conditions. Heading up the
first week of sept thru Granite Park and over Italy pass

I was in Granite Park about 10 days ago. There was a steep snow field impeding passage into the highest step of Granite Park, and it looked like a fair amount of snow on the route to Italy Pass. By early September I'd think things would be a lot different though -- certainly passable.

I was just over Italy Pass last Friday. We hiked to Italy Lake from the Hillgard drainage and crossed over Italy Pass from that direction over to Granite Park.

No ice axe was needed, but we had quite a few snow field crossings.
