High Sierra Topix

Some friends and I are hiking from Onion Valley to Whitney portal over labor day weekend. Do you think we'll have to deal with snow over forrester pass or any other high elevations along this route? Also, what are your thoughts on the mosquito conditions a couple weeks from now?
