Green Creek Trail?

Post by fyton2v »

Hi all,

Looking to some folks on an < 4 mile one way overnight trip somewhere without much snow and dangerous stream crossings. I saw an earlier post about Green Lake and that may fit the bill. That spot is in NF land... not Yosemite NP... right? Just trying to gauge laws and permits needs. I want to take a dog :).

Thanks everyone. Happy 4th!

It's forest service until Summit lake. The Yosemite boundry. It is in Hoover wilderness so you need a wilderness permit. Get one at Bridgeport Ranger station. You can take your dog but just not passed Summit lake.
