Decided 100% to go on our original route. We will drive on chains to get to the parking lot at crabtree, and will be very cautious with our creek crossings. Should be great fishing! :D

I'll be surprised if it is great fishing. The streams are blown out right now....and Piute Creek should be a real adventure to cross.

The lakes should be better...but bear in mind much of the normal shoreline will be under water. Crazy conditions out there!

Thats true, we are taking all precautions. Crabtree is fully open, and there are patches of snow in emigrant. Buck Meadow should be somewhat fishable, but Im mainly focused on lakes there.

Pork,

Did you call the Pinecrest Station this morning and get that info about the Crabtree road? It's open all the way to the TH?

Awesome. Have a great trip. Maybe I'll see you on the way out on the 17th. I'll be wearing a Henry's Fork Foundation hat.
