I didn't just find full span logs. I found complete log jams. The things Frog creek have going for it is the sides are not granite so that much of the creek is below the banks and that it is quite narrow in places. I guess I just had a lot of luck. But on the other hand I never crossed in a year like this one because (if I'm not mistaken) there has not been a year like this one since I began BP in the Sierra 40 years ago.
