:soapbox: soap? um... never.. oily pans burn off quickly enough on the next cook.

I love bear cans. I love rangers who enforce these regs. I love the regs. I love backpackers who are "in" to this stuff. All of this for one reason. I always wanted to eliminate weight from my pack that served no purpose. A bear can would never have served a positive purpose for me. I'm sure of this. No lie. I wouldn't lie about this. If you need to carry the extra weight, good for you. I guess now you have no choice. I love these regs. I really love that they're for now and weren't in the past. Thank god. I wouldn't like to have those kinds of memories.
