What bug is this?

Saw this bug on my tent at Soldier Lake. Looks like some kind of beetle. couldn't find it on the net. I knocked it off my tent and it fell on it's back and did that beetle way of righting itself.

They come out in huge numbers heare in the Antelope Valley durring the summer. You especially find them around tumble weeds.
