Thanks! I definitely plan to visit Lost Lake if I'm able to secure/transfer my permit! Hopefully the mosquito problem up there won't be too bad yet. Last year around the same time, due to timing, the mosquito experience in July was the worst I've ever encountered on the Lakes Trail. I've left a message with the wilderness office and I'll make sure to pass on the info re:permits and my trip...

I will post my trip report on another thread, but I wanted to pass on to everyone that SEKI did allow me to transfer my permit to another trailhead without any charge. Lost Lake was beautiful! We had it to ourselves for 2 days! I will post my TR later on...
