Hey Howard

I know what your saying. Here's seamless 3 inch ice on Ruby Lake this morning. Hope all is well at the hut. http://www.facebook.com/pages/John-Ditt ... 925?ref=mf

Thanks John for posting those wonderful shots!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Tamarack (Rock Cr) snow free hiking
Ruby and Fourth Recess via Mono Pass (fairly serious post holing)
Duck Lake via Duck Pass on skis a couple of days ago.

Here's a pretty fun video from Topsy Turvy earlier this fall.

I love living vicariously in an East Side winter in your photos and videos. With my Curry Village ice rink skating skill level, there's no way I can manage skating in those places. It's a major joy to be able to get such a vivid sense of the experience. Thanks.
I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.
