Thanks for the nice post and photos. Kaweah Basin from Shepherd Pass. I like that. Better fishing options on the approach than from Crescent Meadow (and I suppose that counts for quite a bit for me). Very nice photos and report of a truly exotic place.

Gary C. -- I checked for that, but no. I'm wondering if it's because I left my boots in the car for a while. Maybe the sun and heat makes the leather shrink?
