Anybody hiked out of Wrights Lake yet?

Post by Jay »

I was thinking about making a quick over nighter, probably up to Island or Grouse. Just wondering what the snow situation is.

Thanks

My guess (based on what I've seen of the Tahoe side of Deso) would be the snow probably wont be bad, if there is any at all. A call to the USFS office might provide a better status of the conditions. Bring your rain gear for sure, as it has been very cloudy with isolated/scattered rain up there for the last 2 weeks, and looks to continue 'till Wed. the 17th.
