Anybody know about dead horse at Lake of the Lone Indian?

Just wondering if anybody has any scoop on how the horse or mule died at Lake of the Lone Indian? Found it last summer by the lakeshore on the west side. Haven't really seen packers there...must have gotten away? Just wondering if anybody knows what happened. Just curious since I have horses.
