Fall Color Progress Between Carson Pass & Hope Valley?

Just wondering if anyone's been between Carson Pass & Hope Valley recently to know what the Fall color condition is right now?

I was up at Silver Lake last weekend and there was descent fall
colors at the eastern end of the lake and then small groves in spots
following the run-off about 1/2mile down.
I heard Caples Lakes and Hope Valley was even better didnt have time
to check it out unfortunately.
Call the Markleeville Visitors Center at 530-694-2475 and check
on updates on calphoto.com(fall foliage).
