I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has posted trip reports
and photo's this season!
It brings back memories to those of use who have been to these
locations, or gives some of use ideals for our next areas of exploration.
I understand the time it takes to put together these reports and putting
up pic's.
Again, thank you for your time and effort in bringing the Sierra to
my monitor.

I'll second that! Also, the webcam stable that Steve Bourelle maintains is a great resource for vicariously keeping track of the mountains!

since I was not able to take an extended vacation this year - I have to say thanks as well - the trip reports from the back country were a life saver - thanks again to everyone for taking the time.

Some of the reports that have been posted this last summer have really inspired me to go to some places I may never have thought about before. One of the many reasons I just love HST. Another big thanks for the reports, pics, and descriptions!

What Maverick said. It's so cool to be able to experience these amazing places vicariously...and pick up ideas for future trips as well.

Yes....Thank you to everyone. I myself always look so forward on reports and pictures you all post..it's been great to read and see your pictures about other areas that I have not yet been to.
My to go list is always getting longer

Bsquared: Yes, the link that Phil (from Newcastle, U.K.!!!!!!!!!!!) indicated is the one. Incidentally, on that list the Death Valley webcam is part of a nationwide webcam "family" that enables you to check out weather conditions and scenery (like, fall foliage) all over the place. With Google earth and these other resources it's no wonder that the traffic is down in the Sierra backcountry (everyone is stuck in front of their monitors, instead!).
