Silver Divide TR and Photos

Originally intended on heading up to the western side of the Ritter Range, I finally opted to explore the Silver Divide further south. First day (sat) I hiked from Edison Lake over Goodale Pass to Peter Pande Lake. A tiring day and I was hurting from getting up so early that morning (4am), and missing the turnoff to Peter Pande Lake I ended up hiking about 16 miles. Once I reached the lake I felt energized again, and sat at the lakes edge for quite some time just watching the sunset and stars. Next day I spent exploring the area and unsure where I'd move camp, I finally decided to hike to Chief Lake below Silver Pass, making it in time to take shelter from the afternoon thundershowers that never really happened, but when the storms broke at sunset they made some great scenery. Had a slow start Mon, packed up and reluctantly headed out back over Goodale Pass.

Nice pic's. Looks like the smoke wasn't an issue.
PP Lake area is pretty and makes for nice photos.
Gotta love those thunderstorms for photography they give the most
brilliant colors, but smoky skies make for really outstanding sunsets too.
