You'll find brookies in the Pioneer Basin lakes. I haven't fished the uppermost lake yet, and I've heard rumors there's some goldens, but I know there's lots of brookies in the other lakes. The lowest lake, which is in a meadow with astounding views, has gazillions of easy to catch brookies. Nothing very big. The lake turns into rings of rising fish in the mornings and evenings. This is one place you'll definitely want to make sure you have your camera!
It's all about the WILDERNESS!!!
